AP Formation Day 1 st Nov






Way Back on November 1st 1956 Andhra State merged with the Telangana region of Hyderabad State to form the state of Andhra Pradesh, which would be mainly Telugu-speaking. Hyderabad, the former capital of the Hyderabad State, was made the capital of the new state Andhra Pradesh. This was the day of formation of AP Formation.
After India gained Independence from the British Empire, the Nizam of Hyderabad,wanted Hyderabad to remain under his power but was later forced to give up arms and become a part of India

Since then 1st november of every year is grandly celebrated as AP FORMATION DAY .

Today the state Andhra Pradesh stands as 4th largest state in INDIA ,with hyderabad as its capital city .

So be proud to be from Andhra Pradesh and celebrate this great day which was the result many sacrifices given by great martyrs of andhra pradesh
